Instalar Oracle 10g express en gnu/linux debian etch

Lo primero q deberias saber es que oracle 10g es biennnn pesado asi q tendras que tener un minimo de 1.5g de swap :)

lo q necesitas primero es meter mano a tu source.list y poner estos repositorios:

1. dependecias:
#apt-get install bc libaio1

2. en /etc/apt/source.list
deb http://oss.oracle.com/debian unstable main non-free

3. apt-get update
nota: puede salir un error de verificaion de llaves GPG/PGP key
lo q tienes q haces es:
# wget http://oss.oracle.com/el4/RPM-GPG-KEY-oracle -O- | sudo apt-key add -

4. hacer un:
# apt-get install oracle-xe-universal

5. dependiendo de tu ancho de banda se tardara unas 2h en descaragar (40kbps) asi q fui por unos luckys :)

6. Todo debe salir ok.

7. hacer un:
#/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
y t pedira las configuraciones necesarias:
Specify the HTTP port that will be used for Oracle Application Express [8080]:8095

Specify a port that will be used for the database listener [1521]:1521

Specify a password to be used for database accounts. Note that the same
password will be used for SYS and SYSTEM. Oracle recommends the use of
different passwords for each database account. This can be done after
initial configuration:
Confirm the password:

Do you want Oracle Database 10g Express Edition to be started on boot (y/n) [y]:y

Starting Oracle Net Listener...Done
Configuring Database...Done
Starting Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Instance...Done
Installation Completed Successfully.
To access the Database Home Page go to "http://127.0.0.1:8095/apex"

8. configurar las variables de entorno:

agregar las siguientes lines en /home/$tu_usuario/.bashrc

export PATH="$PATH:/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/bin"
export ORACLE_HOME="/usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server"
export ORACLE_SID="XE"
export NLS_LANG=`$ORACLE_HOME/bin/nls_lang.sh`
